Wu is a pattern language for designing and building usable web sites. It is published in book form by Addison-Wesley as A Pattern Language for Web Usability by Ian Graham. This site is published in support of that book.
The vision for the site is to:
- build a community to evolve the Wu pattern language
- put into practise good web usability
You are invited to:
- ask some FAQ's about this project
- browse the patterns
- try the language out on projects
- send in case studies of its use
- offer comment and criticism
- create and submit a pattern all of your own using the on-line facility
- send in your most hated web sites, stating how they violate the patterns or (of course) your favourites.
